Thanks a million to Hetal Di, all our Baba's kids and to the ultimate Almighty Who showed us the way to be going about it.
Baba made me return to our Modern Sai Satcharita finally with this initiative with His grace and blessings from you all!! Have had been pulled by Baba to this online Shirdi in 2013!! From here only, He made learn about Lord Shri Sai Satcharita, Dwarkamai, Chavdi, Importance of Udi, Neem leaf and much more experiences!!
Have had been working on numerous initiatives besides a full time job so as to nurture Financial Independence for myself and thus share that too with the potential people at large as it was a plight to see high potential and even diligent people not getting their dues and often coming to me and asking for solutions and myself being helpless.
Now He showed the way indeed which culminated With Baba's grace and all of yours blessings, had been awarded with Emerging Entrepreneur and Star Entrepreneur Award by a leading e-commerce company and been blessed with mentees from Google, Amazon Prime and the who's who of the industry!!
Later on, Baba made me launch my own venture (that's also a miracle saved for later 😊). While going through all this, had been looking for lot of answers from myself, and Baba through His Form of Shri Sai Satcharita answered all of them.

The Early Life Of RadhaKrishna Maai
Sundari Bai Kshirsagar, one of the early and prominent devotees of Sai Baba was born in the year 1882 and got married at the age of 17 in the year 1899. Fate turned and her husband died on the eighth day of their wedding. The emotional turmoil due to the death of her husband turned Sundari Bai towards spirituality. She reached the land of Shirdi and got the name "RadhaKrishna Maai" from Sai Baba as she had a nine-inch tall brass idol of Radha Krishna and used to sing Bhajans.
The following has been quoted in Shri Sai Satcharitra: Woman and wealth are the two main obstacles in the way of our Paramartha (spiritual life) and Baba had provided in Shirdi two institutions, viz. Dakshina and Radhakrishnamai for, whenever they came to Him, He demanded Dakshina from them and asked them to go to the ‘SCHOOL’ (Radhakrishnamai’s house). If they stood these two tests well, i.e. if they showed that, they were free from attachment for woman and wealth, their progress in spirituality was rapid and assured by Baba’s grace and blessings.
Sundari Bai was the daughter of Shakuntala Bai Kshirsagar, unfortunately, no reference about her father is available. When she attained the age of 17, she was married to the son of Dahithankar family who hailed in Thane district. As per the tradition, she was brought back to her parents' place the next day of the marriage. Before she left for her in-laws home, her husband died. Thus before she starts her life, it was ruined and she was left all alone. She was emotionally broken and her world had shattered to the core.

RadhaKrishna Maai's Advent In Shirdi
Previous Post: The Early Life Of RadhaKrishna Maai
As she reached Dwarkamai, the lady put down her belongings, and without climbing the steps of the Masjid, she bowed down her head to the earth and folded her hands in reverence to Sai Baba. Stationing herself there, she took her musical instruments and started singing bhajan's composed by Meera.

We got introduced to the early life of Radha-Krishna Maai and saw the harsh life she led. In today's post, we shall now see her advent in Shirdi.
It was an evening of the year 1907 when Sai Baba had returned after meditation from Lendibaug. He was sitting with His hand resting on the railing of Dwarkamai. The sun was about to set, and the villagers of Shirdi were retiring from their works and heading to their homes. Baba noticed someone clad in white clothes nearing Dwarkamai. He could not take His eyes off from the person. As the person was approaching near, He figured out that it was a woman. Is she a homemaker, or is she a saint, she was still a mystery. She adorned white saree and had a Jholi on her shoulder. With Ektara in one hand and a pair of Kartaal in the other, she had applied a tilak of abil (white powder) as per Madhav Sampradaay. While bracelets made of Tulsi adorned both her wrists, a neckpiece made of small Tulsi beads ornamented her neck. Her hairs reached her knees. Though her outward condition was not up to the mark, her appearance was awe-inspiring. As she reached Dwarkamai, the lady put down her belongings, and without climbing the steps of the Masjid, she bowed down her head to the earth and folded her hands in reverence to Sai Baba. She took out the idol of Radha-Krishna from her bag, gathered two bricks, placed a clean cloth above it and installed the idol on it. Stationing herself there, she took her musical instruments and started singing bhajan's composed by Meera.

Services of RadhaKrishna Maai In Shirdi
हिन्दी में पढ़े: शिरडी में राधाकृष्ण मां की सेवा
Previous Post: RadhaKrishna Maai stayed in Shirdi for a decade. From cleaning the path to active participation in Ramanavami celebrations, she was instrumental in many reforms in Shirdi.
RadhaKrishna Maai's Appearance and Cottage
RadhaKrishna Maai would wear clothes made of thick fabric and always kept them clean. Most of the times she left her hair loose without combing them, and rarely would tie them. She had a bright and white mosquito net hanging above the bed in her cottage and covered her bedding with a clean sheet. The idol of RadhaKrishna adorned the wooden shrine. Two pictures of Baba were placed on either side of the idol, and she always decorated them with flower garlands weaved by her. She kept embroidered pillows at both the ends. Among the two pictures of Baba, He was sitting on a stone in one, and the other one was Him in sitting posture. She had one more picture of Baba, wherein He was leaning on the wall holding His Kafni. So in all, there were three pictures of Baba in RadhaKrishna Maai's cottage. The image of Baba in a sitting posture was a rare one. So, the devotees visiting Shirdi made it a point to visit her cottage and take darshan of it. Baba also used to test His devotees by asking if they had gone to the school or not? By school, He meant RadhaKrishna Maai's cottage! Two books were always present in the cottage. One had Abhangs of Saint Tukaram published by Nirnay Sagar Press of Mumbai. The other one was a Marathi book of poems and songs composed by one of the premier poet Jaydev.RadhaKrishna Maai cooked only once in the morning while preparing breakfast for Baba. She did not have hassles of cooking in the later part of the day as Baba would send a portion from His lunch as Prasad for her afternoon meals. At night Kakasaheb Dixit, Bapusaheb Buti, or other devotees would bring their food and share it with RadhaKrishna Maai. Thus she had the proximity of singing bhajans and playing Ektara the whole day.

Yogic Powers of RadhaKrishna Maai
हिन्दी में पढ़े: राधाकृष्ण माई की योगिक शक्तियाँ
Previous Post: In the last post, we came across the devotee Vamanrao Patel, a solicitor from Mumbai, who lived with RadhaKrishna Maai. He lived in her cottage for 11 months and was the first to witness the Yogic powers of Maai. Today's post covers a description of her powers.
RadhaKrishna Maai used to layer the walls of Dwarakamai with cow dung and kept it decorated all the time. Baba was indifferent to various gifts that devotees offered to Him and never cared to keep them safe. She safeguarded these offerings. She kept the lamps, bell, Pooja plate, and other items required for Baba's daily worship handy. Though the celebration of Ramnavami festival started in Shirdi a decade before she came to Shirdi, she made significant reforms like celebrating the festival for nine days (starting from the first day of Chaitra month as per Hindu calendar till ninth day), decorating cradle for Lord Ram's birth, doing bhajans, etc. in the year 1912. No Share In Services
There were many services where RadhaKrishna Maai used to take help of devotees. Yet there were few tasks which she performed alone. In fact, she tolerated no interference. There were two earthen pots in the Dwarkamai which she refilled every day, and strictly no help was welcomed. If anyone volunteered, they faced a big NO. No one noticed when and how the pots were filled and who did the job. Devotees of Baba used that water as Holy water. Few filled a glass of the water and took to their houses to get rid of poverty. There was a well behind Dixit Wada (which still exists), and devotees believed that she used to refill water in those earthen pots in an invisible form from that well. In 1916, when Vamanrao Patel lived in the cottage of RadhaKrishna Maai, he once woke up at 3 am and did not find her around. Perturbed, he started looking for her outside, and saw her refilling the water from the well behind Dixit Wada. Seeing this, he rushed to her and offered help saying, "Let me help you, please". To this, she replied, "You finish your sleep, I do not need any help".Read More »

Yogic Powers And Demise Of RadhaKrishna Maai
Previous Post:
In the last post, we came to know about the Yogic powers of RadhaKrishna Maai and the encounters of Vamanrao Patel during his stay for eleven months with her.
Once Sai Baba said to Vamanrao, "You should take care of RadhaKrishna Maai's cottage, the way you take care of Dwarkamai." Vamanrao had already surrendered himself to Baba. Baba's words were his command. From that day onwards, he vigilantly took care of RadhaKrishna Maai. He even gave her body massage. He considered himself as a humble servant of another humble servant of Baba! RadhaKrishna Maai was a "Yogini" and serving her was his greatest dharma. RadhaKrishna Maai would often tease Vamanrao when he gave her massage by making her body stiff. Vamanrao used to get exhausted, massaging the body. She would then ask him to walk on her back while she remained unperturbed. He would pray to her in his heart, "Maai, I am exhausted; please show some mercy!" Miraculously, her body would loosen up instantly, as if she had heard his silent request.
No one had seen RadhaKrishna Maai anywhere near Baba, whether it be going to Dwarkamai for darshan of Baba, or on His rounds back and forth to Lendibaug. She always saw Him from behind the curtain. Vamanrao noticed this twice during his stay with her. Maai could walk on fire, read people's minds, and disappear suddenly when around others. All these Siddhi were her actual ornaments.
Her daily routine comprised cooking breakfast for Baba. One day she said this to Vamanrao, "Vamanya, I am not feeling well today, you cook breakfast and take it for Baba", saying so, she went away. He adhered to her order - cooked breakfast, served it to Baba in Dwarkmai opposite the cottage, and sat waiting for her to return. When she did not return till afternoon, Vamanrao lost patience and searched for her in the village. It was late at night when she returned to the cottage. Vamanrao thus decided not to allow RadhaKrishna Maai to go anywhere. The next day, the same thing got repeated, RadhaKrishna Maai put the responsibility of cooking breakfast and went away. Restless Vamanrao followed the very moment and tried to stop her. RadhaKrishna Maai walked ahead, Vamanrao followed her. When both reached Balabhau's hotel, and she disappeared. From this incident, Vamanrao concluded that RadhaKrishna Maai has Yogic powers.
In another incident, in the 1916 year's monsoon, he got trench feet and was in pain because of continuous water exposure. RadhaKrishna Maai cured the discomfort by touching his feet with her toe.
The Ramnavami of the year 1914 was on a Thursday. It being an auspicious day for worshipping Baba, Vamanrao wished to gift something precious to Him. But he had no money to buy anything valuable, and he opened his heart to RadhaKrishna Maai. She replied, "You gift a lighted lamp to Baba, and keep it at His Lotus Feet. He loves lamps. If you do that, He will surely light up your life like a lamp. You do not worry about money; the Lord will take care of everything." She referred Vamanrao's wish to trader Narvekar of Mumbai, "Vamanrao wishes to gift a valuable lamp to Baba, and he is short of money as of now, but I want to fulfil his wish. He can repay the amount in a year in monthly instalments of Rs. 25." Nervekar agreed and got a lamp prepared fo Rs. 125 for Vamanrao.
On March 25, 1914, lakhs of devotees gathered in Shirdi for the Ramnavami festival. Vamanrao noticed the devotees offering their gifts to Baba before Noon aarti. He got excited and asked RadhaKrishna Maai to accompany him to Dwarkamai and present the lamp. It was a fact that RadhaKrishna Maai never went to Dwarkamai for darshan of Baba. She asked him to light the lamp and said she would follow him. He poured ghee into the lamp and placed a wick soaked in ghee inside it. He then placed the lamp on a small plate and headed towards Dwarkamai. When he stepped on to Dwarkamai, a soft hand touched his shoulder. He turned back and saw RadhaKrishna Maai backing him, saying, "Go Vamanya, go ahead and present this beautiful lamp to Baba". RadhaKrishna Maai had taken the vrat not to see Baba's Divine face; still, she was present in Dwarkamai. That was her invisible avtaar, and she was visible only to Vamanrao and Baba (of course!). He was fortunate to have darshan of the invisible form of RadhaKrishna Maai. Witnessing such a connection between His devotees, Baba smiled secretly.
RadhaKrishna Maai came to Shirdi when she was twenty-five. Villagers of Shirdi looked at her as an incarnation of Meerabai, seeing her devotion towards Radha-Krishna. Even Gods Who would envy the fortune of the land of Shirdi who got the kiss of Baba's Lotus Feet. She lived on the same land for a decade and dedicated herself to devotion and strength. This way she became Radha to Baba. On October 25, 1917, Dusshera day, she left the mortal coil in Kopargaon. Before the news reach to Baba, He removed His Kafni and offered to Dhuni in rage. He warned His devotees saying, "You all see My form now, you won't be able to see This Form again". Thus Baba favoured RadhaKrishna Maai in her last moments and gave her Sadgati (salvation).
Vinny Maa has shared a very interesting video about RadhaKrishna Maai's life, which is shared below. Please feel free to share this post with your friends and family and also subcribe to the youtube channels (links provided at the end of the post)

Sai Baba Wishes To Fulfill Tarabai Tarkhad's Wish
हिंदी में पढ़े: साईं बाबा की इच्छा - ताराबाई तरखड़ की इच्छा पूर्ति
Raghunath Bhaskar Rao Purandhare, a devotee of Sai Baba lived in Bandra (a suburb of Mumbai). His wife, Vishakhabaai got fever which did not subside for a long time. The fever was then called Typhoid. While she was suffering from the rare type of fever of those times, she had dream of Sai Baba wherein He applied Udi on her forehead. She saw His mesmerizing form and moved to the core. After a whiile she suddenly woke up from the dream and on touching her forehead, she found Udi there and the fever had gone completely. She woke her husband up and shared her dream. She excitedly informed him about the fever vanishing too! The couple were overwhelmed and started praising and singing Baba's name. They both decided to go to Shirdi to offer their gratitude for the grace He had showered on them. Before starting to Shirdi, they decided to meet Tarkhads and inform them about their plan. Both the family had close relations and so Vishakhabaai was excited to share the news of her getting alright by Baba's grace and going to Shirdi for His darshan with Tarabaai Tarkhad. On hearing the news, her happiness knew no bounds. She immediately rushed to market to buys brinjals (eggplants) as it was not a season of brinjal in Shirdi. She knew that Baba liked bharit (as in Marathi, in Hindi it is called Baingan bharta) and kacharya and so she wanted to serve Him. She bought some brinjals of high quality and passed on to Vishakhabaai with instruction to make bharit of half of brinjals and kacharya of the remaining ones. She also added to serve the karcharya pipping hot to please Baba the most.
On reaching Shirdi, Vishakhabaai set on to cook bharit of brinjal and served it as Naivedya to Baba. She then returned to her lodging (Kakasaheb Dixit's Wada) in hurry and started frying sliced brinjals. She made sure that the brinjals were perfectly cooked and delicious. She happily undertook the responsibility of Tarabaai. Soon, the noon Arti got over and curtain was laid down for lunch. Food got served and Baba took first morsel of bharit. He liked it the most and exclaimed, "What a delicious bharit, I really enjoyed it, now I want to have kacharya. Go and check if it can be brought pipping hot!" The devotees present in the dinner party were in a fix, it was not a season of brinjals, if luckily they found some, it would take a considerable time to prepare the dish and they will have to keep Baba waiting for a long time? All had similar thoughts and confused about how to fulfill this small yet nearly impossible wish of Baba. The ladies were fortunate more than the Gods in the Heaven for Baba was asking something from them and they were ready to fulfill His Wish!
The devotees present then thought a step forward and concluded that they can approach the person who has brought the naivedya of bharit. They decided to ask the person if he/she has some extra brinjals to cook the kacharya. They reached Dixit Wada and saw Vishakhabaai frying the slices and they were ready to serve hot! So they took them and offered to Baba for Him to relish! Baba fulfilled His devotees' wish in pretext of His wish! What a merciful God landed on this earth for us. We are fortunate to be able to take His name and listen to such stories.
It is on account of good deeds of past births that we encountered such a Merciful God Who is only dependent on our love, Who never wants His devotees to come to slightest the trouble. He will play sports just as a Loving Father and sometimes enjoy with us. Many times we feel that He is taking us on a ride but in the end we will find ourselves smiling at His Sports thus loving Him more. In this particular incident He very well knew what Tarabaai had planned for Him and also that Vishakhabaai was executing her plan. He played a role as a Kid and made His devotees rush to fulfill His wish. Many times i have experienced that He is a very possessive God, He craves for our love more than us. That is the reason He always rushes to His devotee on one sincere call. His way of acknowledging the devotion of His devotee is unique for all.

Sai Baba Saved Malanbaai From Tuberculosis
हिंदी में पढ़े: साईं बाबा ने टी.बी से मालनबाई को बचाया
Malanbaai lived in Satara district. Her father Damodar Rangnath Joshi had passed away and she used to live with her mother. She then got fever which developed to tuberculosis. When no rememdy cured her, she resorted to Sai Baba's Udi. Still there was no improvement. She expressed her desire to visit Shirdi, in a hope that having Darshan of Baba will help her get rid of the disease. She had full faith in Baba that with His mere Darshan, Merciful Baba will cure her ailmnent. How to reach Shirdi was a big question for mother and daughter without anyone's support. On the other hand, she was too weak for the journey. Her mother alone could not manage all the hardships on the way all by herself. So she asked for help from her sister and her son Vasudev. The four set to Shirdi and on reaching Shirdi they went to Dwarkamai and had Darshan of Sai Baba. Malanbaai was hopeful that all the penance and sacrifices of her past and present birth will be fruitful by just a look of Holy Feet of Baba. On the contrary, seeing Malanbaai, Baba got raged with live embers in His eyes. Every moment His anger was increasing and reaching to the heights of mountains.
The way Krishna destroyed evil in the battle field by blowing counch in Mahabharata, same way Baba used to destroy troubles and calamities of His devotees with His anger. He said to her mother, "Do not give anything else than water to her. Take her to Dixit Wada and she can sleep only on one blanket". Receiving such strange instructions from her only hope i.e. Baba with regards to Malanbaai's health, her mother and aunt started crying profusely. They felt that their daughter's future is in dark when they got unexpected medical advice from Baba. They fell in His Feet and begged for the wellbeing of their girl. As per Baba's instructions, Malanbai was taken to Dixit Wada and all the other foods were stopped. She was made to sleep on only one blanket. Day by day her condition worsened instead of improving. Her mother felt very helpless just as a tree fell on them under which they came to take shelter.
February 14, 1912, early morning Baba was sleeping in Chavadi. Devotees gathered, did Kakad Arti, arti finished at other temples, sunlight seemed to be welcoming the day, but Baba did not open His Eyes. All the villagers became sad when He did not wake up as usual. This was a matter of utter surprise and dismay for all.
Suddenly cries were heard from Dixit Wada. Two women were crying with shouts and deep pain. They were Malabaai's mother and aunt. Malanbaai had passed away. Her cousin that gone to village market to buy necessary items for her last rituals. Meanwhile Baba turned side in Chavadi and opened His Eyes. He was again in the rage of anger, started blowing His Satka in three directions i.e. east, north and south, as if He was wrestling with some invisble power. To the surprise of all present devotees, He did not return to Dwarkamai, but started running towards Dixit Wada still wrestling and blowing His Satka in the three directions. He stopped where Malanbaai was laid. Her respiration started and she woke up looking very scared. She woke up and straight away went to Baba's Feet and started crying. She said, "O Mother, a dark man was taking me away, so i screamed in Baba's name to help me. Baba immediately came running and hit dark man with His Satka with all force and saved me. Later He took me to Chavadi which is made of black stones". Since Malanbaai was sick she has not gone to any other places in Shirdi except Dwarkamai and Dixit Wada since the time she came to Shirdi. Still she described Chavadi accurately.
Baba could have blessed Malanbaai on the very day when she came to Shirdi and took her disease away. But He allowed her to suffer a little more to ward off all her bad karma in one shot. Such was the love of Baba for His devotees. He not only looks after physical and mental wellness, He is more keen on nullifying effect of bad karma of past and present birth and spiritual upliftment of His devotees.

What Is The Meaning Of "Sai"?
Today, February 18th is the birth anniversary of Shri. Ramkrishna Paramhans. On this day sharing an important piece of information for Sai Devotees - What Is The Meaning Of "Sai"?
Shirdi Sai devotees always chant the name of "Sai". It has become a mantra for them. In this post let's see what does "Sai" mean as explained and described by Shri. Ramkrishna Paramhans. The meaning of ‘Sai’ can be understood well by reading ‘Shri Ramkrishna Vachanamrut’. One would be surprised to know that the meaning of the word revolves around the life of Sai Baba. It is more surprising that when Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans explained it, he was living in Bengal. Before we proceed to analyse the meaning of the word ‘Sai’, first some similarities between the lifestyle of Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans and Shirdi Sai Baba has to studied as the meaning has some relation of it.
Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans and Shirdi Sai Baba lived in almost similar era. Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans birth was in the year 1837 and Sai Baba’s birth was in the year 1838 (approximately). Both the saints had similar philosophies and teachings. Both preached that all the religions are one. People of all religion go to the same God, only Their names and forms were different. People of all religions should live with brotherhood remembering the fact. Ram of Hindus, Allah of Muslims and Jesus of Christians are one and same. People call them by such names according to their castes and creed, but in the end they are calling only one God.
Both the saints ask the same question to their devotees to think and act, that though there exists similarity of Gods, then why people quarrel with each other? Why do they behave live fools? They only emphasized that people should live in unison. Though the paths are different, everybody has to go the same destination. It is said that saints know each other and are one with each other.
Once Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans was seated in a room of Dakshineshwar temple. The author of famous work ‘Shri Ramkrishna Vachnamrut’, Shri Master Maharaj was also present. At that time, Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans explained the meaning of ‘Sai’ in His pravachan (discourse), “In the context of self-realisation, the one who has acquired the world i.e. a Siddha Purush is said to be Koul, according to Vedant, he is Paramhans, so according to Boul Vaishnav (a sub custom of Bengal) he is called Sai. Boul Vaishnav of Bengal and Varkari of Maharastra are similar. So Sai is the last milestone. When Boul’s became Siddha, they are called ‘Sai’. There is total indifference in this situation. The people wear a necklace of which is half made up of cow’s bones and the other half is made up of tulsi (Tulsi is herb considered as auspicious as per Hindu tradition). This Siddha person follow and respect both Hindu and Muslim religion. He is ‘Neer' for Hindus and a ‘Peer’ for Muslims.
The following in an excerpt from The Gospel of Shri RamKrishna
According to the Sakti cultthe siddha is acalled a koul, and according to the Vedanta, a paramhansa. The Bauls call him a Sai. They say,"No one is greater than Sai. The Sai is a Man of Supreme Perfection" He doesnt see any differentiation in the world. He wears a necklac. one half made of cow bones and the other of the sacred Tulsi-plant. He calls the Ultimate Truth "Aalekh - The Incomprehensible One". The Vedas call It "Brahman". About the jivas Bouls say, "They come from Aalekh and they go unto Aalekh". That is to say, the individual soul has come from the Unmanifest and goes back to the Unmanifest.
In this way, Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans has explained the meaning of word ‘Sai’. We can see the character of Sai Baba same as the meaning. Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans used to sing a bhajan “Ek Aise Bhavka Fakir Aayaa Hai, Jo Hidnuo Ka Devataa Aur Musalamano Ka Peer Hai".
One more surprising fact is that in the year 1886, Sai Baba took Samadhi for three days and in the same year, Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans had also taken Samadhi. Saints only know their deeds and actions, though they seems to differ in some way or the other, there is no doubt that they both were one and they proceed in unison.
Thus it is clear from this that when Sai Baba first came to Shirdi, Goddess Saraswati only spoke in the voice of Mhalsapati ‘Ya Sai - Come Sai’

Aum Sai Rakshak Sharanam Deva - Powerful Sai Baba Mantra
"AUM SAI RAKSHAK SHARANAM DEVA" Keep chanting this MANTRA and keep chanting and keep at it, till the beat of the heart, the silent sigh of the mind and the pause between the breath chants - Ruzbeh N Bharucha
Shirdi Sai Baba is an ocean of Mercy, Love and Compassion. He is the supreme God Who walked on the earth to spiritual upliftment of His devotees. He never cares if we chant any mantra or not, worship Him daily or not, keep and observe any vow. He only wants true love and pure devotion from us. In fact, He is very possessive towards His devotees. Every devotee reading this post will share the testimony that Baba shows them correct way and He is always vigilant for their spiritual welfare. Even if He is taking care and fulfilling material wishes, He wants us to desire self realisation and thrive towards it. Each devotee will go through different levels of struggle, pain, trouble in order to understand what exactly peace and happiness means. We are well equipped, in this era, to enjoy happiness resulting from the comfort of advancement and technology, but we are devoid of peace inside us. If we are peaceful inside, happiness will come naturally inside and out. We wont be roaming and searching it in any outward medium. We will be strong enough to face the worldly issues and give birth to the desire to reach our ultimate goal (self-realization). For this purpose, He provides us with spiritual weapons like meditation, mantra, Sai Satcharitra and many of His able and learned devotees have shared the treasure of their experiences which gives us an insight of miracles that took place when Baba was in flesh and blood. Whatever treasure that i come across, i share with my readers on the blog so that we all can grow and nurture together. In today's post, i am sharing a mantra which will definitely help you to connect to Baba. Aum Sai Rakshak Sharanam Deva" is a powerful mantra which i encountered while i was editing and publishing experiences on Sai Baba Miracles blog. To my utter surprise, i noticed that since a year the frequency of experiences about chanting this sacred mantra has increased and devotees are sharing how they overcame small or big situations. The frequent encounter with the mantra made me curious to know more about it. After each such experience related to the mantra was published, i wondered about it's source. My mind presumed it to be one of the 108 names of Sai Baba and i started living with it (may be my time to experience the power of the mantra had not come yet!). Ironically, I was a little away from social media since more than a year. I only spent time in reading books and publishing regular posts on our miracles blog.
As and when time passed by, the mantra caught my attention and many devotees were sharing their experiences related to the mantra during the prevailing Covid pandemic. Devotees chanted the mantra as per their convenience, different versions of the mantra like "Om Sai Rakshak", "Om Sai Rakshak Sharnam","Sai Rakshak", "Om Rakshak Sharnam" were available and I was not sure which version was an authentic one. However my focus was not on its authenticity but to understand how it works and how much power it is impregnated with.
The foremost reason that the blogs of Sai Yug Network came into existence is a simple want of sharing whatever I am reading, enjoying and experiencing about Baba. My time came to experience the power of it when one of my family member suffered from Covid and i vowed to chant the mantra nine times for twelve days, at ideally the same time of the day (evening arti time), after adding Udi to water in a glass and covering it with my hand. For the first two days, it was a mere chanting. Third day I tried to focus, I wasn't meditating, I chanted with full concentration. I felt positive vibrations with high energy. Immediately I started experiencing power of the mantra and felt so light. Peace had surrounded me and all my worry and anxiety started to diminish. Within next two days ill-health got restored and i was relieved. Though the tough situation had passed, I continued the chanting and completed the vow of chanting for 12 days. With each passing day and with each chanting, i was experiencing its power. I was not sure about the correct version of the mantra, so i chanted "Om Sai Rakshak Sharnam". The remaining days' chanting gave me much strength and power within as if it was helping me fight against all negatives around me, the presence of which was affecting my posiitivity. The negativity was like holes on the positive aura around me, it reached me through the holes. The mantra however repaired the holes and helped to restore positivity. Another point that i wish to highlight is that i presumed that the mantra is only for physical health, so i opted it at this time. But there was lot more in-store for me (and you all too!).
Later on. I got busy with my routine, forgot about my curiosity regarding authenticity of the mantra, still i continued encountering it for a month. Two weeks ago, I decided to go through 108 names of Sai Baba to confirm my prenotion. To my utter shock, even after reading them several times, I couldn't find the mantra! I was not able to believe my eyes and I was thinking myself to be a novice on presuming facts about a mantra without reaching its roots. I was back to square one and it gave birth to a bigger curiosity in me. I headed to google and came across various videos on YouTube, which i watched and again all had different versions. I wasnt able to decide which was the authentic mantra and its source. Then i started browsing for links that google search provided. The first search was link of the miracles blog, i smiled at the irony and went to the next one. Next link was a tweet by Ruzbeh N Bharucha about four years ago. I was reminded of reading his book Rabda : My Sai...My Sigh about nine years ago! I was in awe reading the book and fascinated with the power of his spiritual writings. I collected all the other titles authored by him and they are a part of my book collection. A reply to the tweet asking about explaination of the mantra hinted me to reach to him. Recently he had liked Facebook Page of Sai Yug Network. So contacting him on facebook seemed to be the best option.
I pinged him on messenger and expressed my wish to know about "Om Sai Rakshak Sharnam" Mantra. Ruzbeh responded within few minutes and answered as below to my query.
I got this Mantra in my prayers and my channeling with BABA. This is a Mantra that protects one from internal and external enemies and dark vibrations.Hesitantingly i put forth another question asking for the authentic version of the mantra, to which he replied, "AUM SAI RAKHSHAK SHARNAM DEVA". At last i reached the root of the mantra. He also shared that he has released a video of the mantra sung by Sai Shivani. It is shared at the end of the post with his due permission. I ended the conversation with a thank you and there was a sigh of relief. Now my heart started pumping to share everything about the mantra with you all and here i am.
Meaning Of The Mantra
Let us try to analyse the mantra and bring out its meaning. It will help in meditation and get deeper insight. The Mantra can be divided into Five Elements explained as under:Aum/Om - AUM is the symbolic representation of the primordial sound, from which “everything” is manifested. Similarly, Our Baba’s compassion and blessings is manifested in the heart of every devotee.
Sai - The word is very dear to devotees of Baba. Also it has great power in it. Chanting only "Sai Sai" will help one to get closer to Baba. However the word "Sai" has a deeper meaning, which can be read here.
Rakshak - Raksha means protection and the one who protects is Rakshak. No wonder our Baba is protecting and guiding us in all paths of life and it is very apt to address Him as Rakshak in our meditation and request Him to ward off dangers of our lives. As Ruzbeh has said it protects against internal and external enemies, it seems very apt. In today's era, Ravan lives in every human and he is more dangerous than the one who existed in Treta Yuga. Each one of us has to become Ram to kill this Ravan, who is very strong and stubborn living within us. The external enemies that Baba pointed to Ruzbeh must be the negative feelings like hatred, jealousy, anger, that humans have towards other fellow humans.
Sharanam - Sharan means shelter or refuge. We are kids of Baba and for every issue we rush to His refuge and He as a loving mother embraces us, keeps near His Heart and loves us.
Deva - Deva is another name for God derived from Sanskrit language. However, when it comes to our Baba, i remember Shama addressing Him as "Deva" and showing how intimate their relation of the past 72 births was.
Baba has given a powerful mantra to Ruzbeh for us to chant and assimilate His love and affection in our lives. Let us chant this mantra and get connected to our dear Baba.
I thank Ruzbeh for sharing the mantra and taking time to respond and satisfy my curiosity. I have been his fan from the time i had first read his book. The incident gave an opportunity to know him as an individual who is down to earth and truly devoted to His Master - Baba. Kindly visit his website ruzbehbharucha.net for more information about him and his books.
Chant "Aum Sai Rakshak Sharanam Deva" every morning once, nine times or 108 times and experience the magic.

Sai Baba Comes Running To Save Raghunath Bhaskar Purandhare
The souls that are ignorant, unknowledgeable, unfortunate, who are not able to comprehend the advantages and disadvantages of their birth, such souls will get solace and salvation if they surrender lovingly to Sai Baba and He will embrace them compassionately in reciprocation.
Baba used to address Raghunath Puramdhare lovingly as "Bhau". He lived in Mumbai and once came to Shirdi with his mother. It was his practice to stay for longer durations in Shirdi. On one such visit, Baba was in Dwarkamai surrounded by devotees. He was in a good mood and cracking jokes.
He said to Purandhare, "Bhau, build a Wada (building, here - house) somewhere, I want to come to stay there".
To this Purandhare replied, "Baba, dont mention that, I do not have huge money to build a house, I am not a rich person, it is an impossible task for me".
Baba said, "O Bhau, I will give you ample money with all My heart. I have saved a lot of money for you, just say yes once, then see what I do".
Purandhare not expecting any money from Baba answered, "Baba, I do not want anything, just keep Your Boon Bestowing Hand on my head to bless me always".
Baba, immediately took out six currency coins of that time from the giant pocket of His Kafni which Purandhare accepted with lot of hesitation after being convinced by Baba.
He stayed in Shirdi for eleven days and on the day of departure, he went to take permission of Baba to Dwarkamai. His mother also went with him. Baba bowed to her saying, "Are Aai, I will take care of My Bhau even if he is thousand cos away from Me. Who wants to claim that you have taken his care and helped him to become a matured adult, I am roaming around him since his childhood. He is with me. Take this Udi and start your return journey".
After his return from Shirdi, Purandhare received money from a source using which he bought a land in Bandra (a suburb of Mumbai) and built a house. Now he understood what Baba meant by "Bhau, build a Wada (building, here - house) somewhere, I want to come to stay there".
Let's see another interesting incident where Baba runs to save Purandhare
It was the practice of Purandhare to stay in Shirdi for 12-15 days in Shirdi. During his stay there, he was constantly engaged in sorts of services. If he was in Shirdi during any festival, he would decorate Palanquin, tied flag, arrange Baba's seat in Dwarkamai, when He went to Lendibaug, arrange roof-tops of Dwarkamai, fill the pits in the walls, level up the floor and many other petty yet important chores.
Dwarkamai was not a pakka building at that time, so then and there, It will need repairs. Once Purandhare was fixing uneven floor of rectangular stones like tiles. He brought cow dung and mixed with sand-mud and picking up every stone, spread the mixture underneath to level and make it more strong. Lot of scorpions oozed out on lifting each such stone. However they were not harmful to anyone. This is just a small instance to show how Purandhare would do petty jobs, because of which Baba used to get angry on Him and at times abused him badly as well. Sometimes he would get beating with stones and bricks from Baba. Once, Baba pulled his nose and dragged him out of Dwarkamai near Chula (hearth) and announced in anger, "Cunning fellow, he is very restless, not sitting quiet at one place and does not allow Me to do so". Purandhare never cared for this anger of Baba, as he was fully surrendered to Baba and that is the only thing which he knew and remembered.
Once preparations for Ramnavami festival was going on in Shirdi. Purandhare and a devotee named Pandit, both were trying to hang a heavy bell in Dwarkamai. For that purpose, they both stood on a table, lifted up the heavy bell and were trying to suspend it on a big nail that was attached to the roof of Dwarkamai. Baba suddenly came running from Lendibaug in haste. Instead of going to Chavadi as usual, He straight away rushed to Dwarkamai. Others present in Dwarkamai doing other jobs, escaped seeing Baba coming with such haste, predicting that He is very angry. They felt safe to run away from there as no one wished to face the Wrath from Him. Purandhare and the other devotee were on the table at that time, they were not in a position to run away from the spot with the heavy bell. With no other option, they stood at the very same spot where they were, not moving even an inch, but scared to death internally. Baba looked up, pointed towards them and said, "See these boys are nearly dying here. Some one come and help them out. Poor ones they are stuck in such a bad situation that they cant even run away."
Then suddenly, as if the bell shed all it's weight, became light as feather. Purandhare immediately suspended the bell up to the roof, nailed and hooked it and quickly finished the job, only to come down and fall in the Holy Feet of Baba. Baba showing a sweet anger towards his gesture said, "Why you behave like a fool, what if you were dead? Others ran away while you got stuck up, how far am I going to run behind to save you, cunning fellow. Allah is Maalik".

How Meher Baba Met Sai Baba In Shirdi
Today is birth anniversary of Avtar Meher Baba and on this occasion, we are sharing a piece of information about his birth, personality and splendid connection with Sai Baba and Upasani Maharaj. Towards the end of the post also sharing what experiences devotees got on visiting Meherabad, a district in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra where Samadhi of Meher Baba is located. Also few videos are shared for deeper insight about this God in Human Form.
Meher Baba was born to Shaheriyaarji and Shirinbaai Irani on Sunday, February 25, 1894 at 5 am in Ratnagiri city of Maharashtra state. He was named as Meherwan. When his mother was in her third trimester with the second child, she saw a large procession going on in the dream. Out of lakhs of people participating in the procession, she saw her mother there. Shirinbaai was surprised to see her mother in the procession. She shared there dream later on with her mother. Her mother felt the dream was an auspicious one at the time when her daughter was about to deliver soon. She predicted the child's future saying, "Dear, this dream incidates the coming of an incredible kid, who will be famous and earn a very good name in the lifetime". A boy was born soon to her and named "Meherwan" When Meherwan was of eleven years of age, he was playing alone in the compound of his home in Pune. A big snake wrapped itself around his whole body. His mother Shiribaai happened to come there and screamed loudly seeing the deadly sight. Hearing her scream many people gathered to know what happened. Before anyone reached the spot, the snake disappeared and only Shirinbaai was lucky enough to have darshan of Naag-Devta.
Meherwan was very fair and handsome looking from the childhood. His personality attracted everyone. He was an avid book reader and he became very popular due to his intelligence and magnetic character. He succeeded in all the ventures he undertook. He passed metric exam from Mumbai university at the age of sixteen and then got admitted to Dakhkhan college. He graduated at the age of eighteen. He was a good learner of languages like English, Gujarati, Marathi and Urdu. He was a good poet as well.
Avtar Meher Baba Meets Sai Baba In Shirdi
January 5th, 1916, Wednesday, new moon day, at about 11 am, Sai Baba was returning from Lendibaug after retiring from meditation and walking towards Dwarkamai. Kakasaheb Dixit preceeded Baba and Tatya Patil was on left and Mhlsapati on His right. All were crying in unison, "Bol Bol Shri Sachchidanand Sadguru Sainath Maharaj Ki Jai..." At the time there was unusual glow on Baba's Face which even Gods in heaven and humans on the earth were drinking to Their Hearts content. Such bright glow on Baba's Face made Mhlsapati dance in ecstasy as if possessed by some deity. The sight was absolutely heavenly uncomparable and unable to quote in words. A young lad in dirty clothes and distressed state came forward from the crowd and fell in Baba's Holy Feet. Villagers took Him as an insane personality.Baba gave a stern look to the boy which was a source of energy being transferred. The young lad did not expect such a grace of energy to don on him so soon. He wandered from places to places and forests to forests in search of light, which came easily to him by just stepping on to the land of Shirdi. He remembered words of His First Guru Shrimati Babajaan that, "Dear, you will meet a Hindi Sadguru, after meeting the Personality, you will grow, earn name and fame and you will be lighting lives of many". He got grace of His Sadguru with a mere look and his whole body had goosebumps. His cells got rejuvenated and he experienced inexplainable joy which no poet or author can put into words of wisdom.
Baba welcomed him with the words, "Aao Parvardigaar". The words were very powerful and he started feeling undefinied connection wtih Baba. It was confirmed to him that Sai Baba is His Guru and He will only take him towards englightenment. But as per his first Guru, it was a Hindu Sadguru, and Baba was dressed as a Muslim, so was unable to comprehend contradicting emotions following in him. Baba knew what all was going in the young boy's mind and said in Marathi, "Tu Vithoba Cha Mandirala Darshan Karala Jha! - Go to Vithoda's temple for darshan". Baba used to call Khandoba as Vithoba and went forward.
The boy looked confused as he had been to Pandharpur but he did not acheive anything there, he was giving up hopes of bowing down to Hindi Sadguru. Kakasaheb Dixit came to him, kept his hand on the boy's shoulder and said, "Why are you getting agitated? By Vithoba, Baba meant Khandoba temple which is on the other side of the road". Saying so he pointed the path towards the temple. He also added that there lives a saint Upasani Maharaj who practiced hard penance staying in the temple. He suddenly disappeared from Auguat 26, 1914 and did not return until few days before. You can meet him there now. The young lad went to Khandoba temple and met Upasani Maharaj who gave him self-realization only by looking into his eyes. Thereby he became famous as Avtar Meher Baba and helped humanity to reach the goal of spirituality.
Avatar Meher Baba’s Universal Message
I have come not to teach but to awaken. Understand therefore that I lay down no precepts.
Throughout eternity I have laid down principles and precepts, but mankind has ignored them. Man's inability to live God's words makes the Avatar's teaching a mockery. Instead of practising the compassion He taught, man has waged crusades in His name. Instead of living the humility, purity and truth of His words, man has given way to hatred, greed and violence.
Because man has been deaf to the principles and precepts laid down by God in the past, in this present avataric form I observe Silence. You have asked for and been given enough words — it is now time to live them. To get nearer and nearer to God you have to get further and further away from "I", "My", and "Mine". You have not to renounce anything but your own self. It is as simple as that, though found to be almost impossible. It is possible for you to renounce your limited self by my Grace. I have come to release that Grace.

Meher Baba Explains - How To Love God
- To love God in the most practical way is to love our fellow beings. If we feel for others in the same way as we feel for our own dear ones, we love God.
- If, instead of seeing faults in others, we look within ourselves, we are loving God.
- If, instead of robbing others to help ourselves, we rob ourselves to help others, we are loving God.
- If we suffer in the sufferings of others and feel happy in the happiness of others, we are loving God.
- If, instead of worrying over our own misfortunes, we think ourselves more fortunate than many many others, we are loving God.
- If we endure our lot with patience and contentment, accepting it as His Will, we are loving God.
- If we understand and feel that the greatest act of devotion and worship to God is not to hurt or harm any of His beings, we are loving God.
- To love God as He ought to be loved, we must live for God and die for God, knowing that the goal of life is to Love God, and find Him as our own self.
Sai Sevak Rohit’s Experience
Om Sai Ram Jai Jai Sai, Jai Shri Sai, Satguru Deva Mera SaiFew days back, on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya (February 11, 2021), I asked Baba to remind me about an important date related to a great Sadguru Sai Baba. Then Baba made me look about Avatar Meher Baba and pointed out that Avatar Meher Baba’s birthday is on February 25th. Mauni Amavasya is the day when people keep a Maun Vrat (vow of silence). Amazing fact about Avatar Meher Baba is the one Who practiced Silence for a very long duration. From 10 July 1925, until his Mahasamadhi in 1969, Avatar Meher Baba kept Maun Vrat.
During a conversation with Shri Hetal Ji, Sai Baba inspired us to collaborate and share our experiences on visiting Holy Samadhi of Shri Avatar Meher Baba ji. So here we are sharing some of our experiences about Shri Avatar Meher Baba.
With Baba’s grace, I got an opportunity to visit the holy land of Shirdi and also samadhi’s of three Sadgurus during Shirdi trip in July 2019. After visiting Samadhi mandir and getting golden opportunity to touch the holy padukas and Samadhi of Baba in Shirdi, Baba blessed me to visit Samadhi of Shri Upasani Baba ji at Sakori and Shri Avatar Meher Baba’s samadhi at Meherabad, Ahmednagar along with Lord Shani Dev at Sri Shani Shingnapur.
Shri Sai Baba is Sadguru of Shri Upasani Baba and responsible for His self-realization. Similarly, Shri Upasani Baba played an instrumental role in self-realization of Shri Avatar Meher Baba. So there is a big connection among The Three.
When I was on my way from Sakori to darshan of Lord Shani dev ji at Shri Shani Shingnapur dham, I called one of my good friends in Ahmednagar who is the head of a non-profit Snehalaya. He was very excited to hear that I am very close to Ahmednagar so he invited me to visit some of the project sites (schools, residence, adoption center and other good work done by non-profit) and also told me that he will arrange my visit to Meherabad. This made my journey very smooth as I had someone who is local and can take me to my destination.
As soon as I reached Meherabad, it started drizzling. I felt like Avatar Meher Baba showering His grace in the form of this rain shower (rain shower in Hindi is called “Meher Barsana”). There was a very limited crowd and I got multiple opportunities to hug the samadhi and listen to beautiful kirtan being done there by volunteers. The whole atmosphere was very calm and soothing. I thanked all three Sadgurus and Lord Shani Dev to bless me on the same day with wonderful back to back darshans.
Sai Ki Deewani Hetal's Experience
I had visited Avtar Meher Baba's Samadhi in the year 2010 on my trip to Shirdi during Diwali. The following is an excerpt from the post narrating the trip experiences. Full post can be read here Series Of Leelas Followed In Shirdi During This Diwali.Sometime back we had heard about Meher Baba and now we wished to visit Holy Samadhi of this personality in Ahmednagar District at a village called 'Meherabad'. It was very cool, calm and mesmerizing environment there. Foreign devotees were serving as volunteers and to the surprise of all, there was not a single Indian serving there. Shirdi, as we see today has become very crowded and everywhere we see people while this place was very quiet with few people. We all queued up and bowed to Samadhi. We all did not know much about Meher Baba, but with His and Sai Baba's grace we found few dedicated devotees of Meher Baba who gave us some information about this incarnation of God. They guided us about the way from where we can get books on Meher Baba. We all purchased few books from the only shop and proceeded our journey to Nimongaon. For more information on the subject you can check the following YouTube Video

Purandhare's Unshakeable Faith In Sai Baba
In the last post, we saw Sai Baba's love towards Purandhare and Purandhare's faith in Baba. In today's post, we are sharing more exciting and heart touching stories. The stories are such that they can make anyone teary-eyed, as this is also my personal experience. I experienced a similar emotion when I read these stories of Purandhare's devotion to Baba and their interactions for the first time while translating them for all of you.
One day Purandhare brought Naivedya in a plate and water pot to Dwarkamai. Baba got angry at once and said, "You don't allow me to sleep the whole night, you won't let me rest, but remember, I am not going to leave you, now take this plate and get lost from here". Unperturbed, Purandhare replied, "Baba, You haven't eaten anything since morning. Please have this food, only then others, and I can eat". Receiving such a bold answer, Baba got angrier and said, "You only eat from this plate and feed others too!". Seeing Baba in such an angry mood, Purandhare ran away from there. That night Purandhare suffered from a severe headache. He was restless the whole night, and sleep eluded him. The next morning, a devotee named Fakir Baba said to Baba, "Baba, ye Bhau to raat mein bahut roya tha. Uska sir bahut dukhta hai. Kuch daya karo. Bechara Bhau akhkha din raat marta hai, kuch dhoop nav dekhta, raat ku sota nay, kuch na kuch kaam kare, to usku yetna bimaar nay hona". Baba replied, "Uku bahut ut aya hai. Mereku Chavadi mein nay baithne deta, Mereku Masjid mein nay baithne deta". Fakir Baba said, "Baba! Apne Vaste wo raat-din marta hai, ab uku kuch dawa dede". Baba exclaimed, "Allah Maalik Hai"
(Translation in English: Fakir Baba said to Baba, "Baba, this guy cried the whole night due to a headache. Please show some mercy towards him. Poor Bhau works really hard the entire day, ignoring the hot sun and can't sleep at night. He doesn't even nap during the day. He keeps working on some or other chores; he shouldn't be suffering like this".
Baba replied, "He has grown very arrogant nowadays. He doesn't allow me to be at peace either in Chavadi or in Dwarkamai".
Fakir Baba said, "Baba, he does all those chores for our sake. Kindly give him some medicine now".
Baba, as usual, answered, "Allah Malik".)
Note: No further progress on this incident is portrayed in Sai Sarovar, we can however assume that Baba with His Kind words and Udi must have cured Purandhare's headache.
Once, Purandhare visited Shirdi during Guru Poornima when a thought occurred to him. "I haven't seen a variety of flowers in Shirdi. If I take saplings of flowers with a good aroma from Bandra and plant them in Shirdi, devotees will offer various fragrant flowers to my Baba." Carrying such a love for Baba, he bought various saplings that will yield aromatic flowers and packed them in a big bag. He managed to reach Kopargaon with the sapling bag; however, he did not get any conveyance from there, to Shirdi. So, keeping the bag on his head, he started walking. He was worried that the saplings will begin drying up if he doesn't get conveyance soon. Just as the thought occurred, he saw a bullock cart after crossing the Godavari river.
On reaching Shirdi, he placed the saplings in RadhaKrishna Maai's cottage and rushed to Dwarkamai to meet Baba. Baba asked, "Did you bring your family with you, or did you come alone? How long are you planning to stay Here?"
Purandhare gave a clear answer, "Baba, I will stay until You permit me".
Baba said, "Ok, now give Me Dakshina".
Baba commented, "This over smart fellow is up to something new now" while giving him Udi".
Radhakrishna Maai advised Purandhare, "You have brought the saplings, but before doing anything, take the permission of your Mother (Aai - Sai Baba)." Purandhare, adhering to RadhaKrishna Maai's advice, went straight to Baba to seek His permission to plant the saplings. Baba immediately got angry and said, "Plant these saplings at your home, and when the flowers blossom, gift them to your wife. Why are you planning to increase My burden? You have already spoilt My Chavdi and Dwarkamai. It is enough. I will kick you and your family out from Here. The British are looting the country, and you are planning to build up a garden here, non-sense. You are behind Me all day and night. Have I taken anything from your father? You don't even offer Me a piece of bread". Baba continued abusing Purandhare in His typical way.
Purandhare gathered courage and replied, "Baba, I am not spoiling Your Chavadi and Dwarkamai. I have brought those saplings to plant. Kindly give me ou permission to plant them as they are drying up". Baba angrily replied, "Throw away all the saplings!"
Purandhare, absolutely saddened with Baba's behaviour, returned to RadhaKrishna Maai. After Baba calmed down at night, He asked False to call upon Purandhare. He went and told him that Baba had called him at that very moment. Purandhare answered, "I am not going to Baba at this late hour. He will be angry again". Saying so he started sobbing.
When False conveyed the same to Baba, He said, "Drag him by holding on to his wrist if he's not coming willingly". Radhakrishna Maai convinced Purandhare, saying, "Baba worries for you day and night like a Mother, and a mother can't be angry with her kid for long. Even if the saplings dry up, Baba will bless these saplings to blossom. So you go to Him now."
As soon as Purandhare stepped into Dwarkamai, he started crying profusely. Seeing him, Baba said, "Bhau, why don't you leave Me alone? Stop crying now and come to Me. I take care of you day and night. Now listen to Me, plant all the saplings wherever you want. I am here to revive the dried ones too! Take the mud below the banyan tree for planting your saplings and start the work now itself". Listening to this, Purandhare again started crying tears of happiness. Baba smiled at him with love. Purandhare, along with RadhaKrishna Maai, happily planted all the saplings by bringing the mud from underneath the Banyan tree as Baba's command.
In another incident, Purandhare was filling up the pits in the walls of Dwarkamai. It was lunchtime, and so other devotees started having the food in Dixit Wada, but Purandhare kept on working. Baba insisted that he go and have food, to which Purandhare replied, "I am not going to have food unless I finish this work". This angered Baba. He jumped over Purandhare and grabbed his throat, saying, "Cunning fellow, get out from Here. You are troubling me too much. I will kill you today. You are determined to destroy My Dwarkamai". Purandhare answered in a trembling voice, "Baba, I do not want to destroy Your Dwarkamai; I am repairing it instead". The answer from Purandhare acted as ghee in the fire for Baba. He got angrier and said, "Stupid, You are here to compete with Me; you do not even care to have food".
Overhearing this conversation, Fakir Baba convinced Purandhare to pause his work for a while. Seeing that, Baba as a loving Mother, called Purandhare near Him and said, "Why do you try to destroy things? Come to Me". Still feigning anger, Baba held his wrist and dragged him towards His seat in Dwarkamai. He said, "Do whatever you want, but first have your food. Why do you trouble everyone unnecessarily?" Purandhare took all the scoldings from Baba as His father and enjoyed the meal in Baba's company Validating Purandhare's viewpoint for Baba, He said, "Bhau, these abuses, beatings are not given to all, only the one who deserves them, gets them". To this, Purandhare replied, "Baba blessings are showered only after You regain senses out of Your Narsimha Avtar, and that is very sweet".
Such was the faith of Purandhare in Sai Baba, unshakeable and unswerving. He had surrendered his everything to Baba. Fortunate is the soul who was able to serve Baba and experience His love through abuses and beatings.

Sai Baba Doodles - Exclusive Showcase By Sai Yug Network.com
An Exclusive showcase of Sai Baba Doodles by Sai Yug Network.com
Lot many pictures of Baba are available on the internet like original pictures, edited through picture editing software, paintings, vectors, hand sketched, digital sketch, etc. Though there are varities, our feelings will be driven towards Baba on every single picture. Though we have in-house designers for creatives of Sai Yug Network.com who make brilliant pictures of Baba and each picture will have its unique effect, browsing pictures of Baba will be my favorite thing. While working, sometimes when I feel to take break, I will browse Google or any social media platform to search atleast a single unique picture of Baba. In course of such browsing sessions, I closed my laptop screen and started surfing Instagram where I stumbled upon a handle Saibaba_doodles and fascinated with doodles there. I was mesmerized seeing the awesome talent, creativity and spirituality. Inspirational quotes on the doodles makes them far more beautiful and attractive. My immediate action was to direct message the person to permit me to showcase doodles on blog. She was more than happy to know my intention. I was curious to know her inspiration for such excellent doodles and this is how she replied.
Last year, when we went in for a national wide lockdown due to Covid 19, that time served as a time when I cut off myself from the outside world and began my journey within. I always wanted to explore spirituality and was looking for someone who could help me. I was looking for a teacher who would say - God is One. Then one day I came across the words - Sabka Malik Ek. That's when I began to read about Sai Baba. From then on Baba has been teaching me. One day at a time. I wanted to share it with the world what Baba has been teaching me every day through simple examples.
As I am also an aspiring artist, what better way to share our Baba's teachings then through my humble art. This is how I began with Saibaba_doodles. It is my prayer to my Guru Shri Sai Baba.

Sai Baba Guides To Ram Raksha Mantra
In this post, sharing Ram Raksha Stotra as per the direction and guidance of our beloved Sadguru Sai Baba through a series of incidents that followed each other in the last three days.
The post is the first of its kind on this blog that content other than Sai Baba is being shared. Whatever God i see or when i go to any temple, my heart calls out Baba, as i happen to see Baba in all other Gods. After I became a devotee of Baba, I had always been reading and researching about Baba, and never did think of going through any other scriptures. The only intention to read those scriptures was to share with you all and all should gain knowledge how Baba was and what He wanted from His devotees. But now seems like Baba wants me to throw some light on "Ram Raksha Stotra". We have always experienced that whatever Baba wills, He will skillfully pull up the strings and the result is we start wondering and connecting the dots. The same was done by Him with me and thus you are reading this post. Kindly allow me to share the leela.
Sai sister Pooja has been an inseparable part of Sai Yug Network team since 2015 and because of her we became a part of many spiritual ventures. Round the year she will be helpful like my right hand and only once or twice a year she will require my help. She called me on Tuesday (April 13, 2021) saying that she had written a write up but her schedule for the day was very much occupied, so it wont be easy for her to finalize the post and publish it. She requested me to take care of it. I happily took the responsibility and started the work. I had initial idea of the content and essence of the post as she has discussed the blueprint with me two days before. Also Baba and Pooja had given me the responsibility of designing the creative which usually our volunteer designers will be doing.
I finished reading, editing the post in two hours and then proceeded with other blog works. We were waiting for volunteers to forward important inputs for the post, so I waited to publish it. You may like to read the post "Sai Ram Chants For Creating Positive Energy During Pandemic" as what I am going to share further seems continuation of the post. The next morning I received text from a devotee in WhatsApp that why not we encourage chanting of "Ram Raksha Stotra" which also acts as a powerful shield. She shared a video when I replied to her that unfortunately I had no idea about the stotra. I went through the video but could not complete watching it full. All i understood was that the mantra has power accumulated in it and it should reach to many.
On Thursday, when I was reading chapter 18-19 of Shri Sai Satcharitra as a part of my daily reading, I came across these lines "The Sadguru is like a monsoon cloud. He pours down profusely, i.e., scatters widely his nectar-like teachings. These, we should enjoy and assimilate to our heart's content; and then serve others with them, without any reserve. This rule should apply, not only to what he teaches in our waking state, but to the visions he gives us in our dreams. To quote an instance: Budhakowshik Rishi composed his celebrated Ram-raksha stotra, which he had seen in his dream."
I was absolutely stunned with goosebumps all over my body, I have been reading Shri Sai Satcharitra since last 15 years yet I am unaware of the fact, never ever noticed it. Proceeding further, I was reading chapter 24 as a part of my reading for MahaParayan. I was again stunned to read this "All Saints agree on and lay stress upon the efficacy of uttering Rama's (God's) name, in fulfilling the ambitions of the Bhaktas and in protecting and saving them from all calamities."
The same day I had talk with my aunty through my mother who intended to read Ram Raksha Stotra as Navratri is going on, but somehow she had misplaced the book from which was to read. I was again stunned to hear name of the same mantra from a person with whom I talked after several months. Then my mother shared that she used to group recite the mantra in her kitty party group during both the Navratris of the year. She added, dad also used to read the mantra. Stunned to the heights, I asked Baba, "What You want me to do, please clarify". This wasn't enough, when the same devotee again shared another piece of information of the mantra as in the screenshot below.
"Oh what I am supposed to do now", I asked Baba, if the post by Pooja was not complete and these incidents should be quoted as continuation there, or He wants me to take up this one on this blog? Thinking further, i came to the conclusion that already four days of Naam Saptah has passed and by the time the post is live, one or two more days will have passed. So why not take it up for Ramnavami as the first day of the reading to start with and the stotra can be recited regularly thereafter.
The next day I shared all the series of the incidents with my mother and then with Pooja. Baba had already decked me up with a write up for a new blog (ShirdiSaiBabaDevotees.com) coming up this Ramnavami and the contents are very technical for me to comprehend. Getting deeper into the information to write a post, I was full of awe and surprises. While I was still trying to work up on those facts, Baba created these series of incidents instructing me to write and lay emphasis on the Ram Raksha Stotra in this difficult time when we are loosing lot of lives and many suffering with serious disease. My mother shared much information about the mantra via videos and text (not sharing here since it was in Marathi and getting it translated in a short time wasnt possible, regret inconvenience)
After discussing with Pooja it was mutually decided to share the information about the Ram Raksha Stotra in a post and request the devotee readers to chant it to build positive vibrations for protective shield against the prevailing global health issue. Let us avoid mentioning the commonly used names of the disease and the destruction it has caused until now. Instead let us chant the Ram Raksha Stotra from the Ramnavami and move towards a safer tomorrow.
You can join group for anyday convenient to you to chant the Ram Raksha Stotra. No volunteer will be tracking the reading, the groups are formed only to keep track how many devotees have joined and reading.

Sai Mansik Deep Seva - Offering Lamps To Baba Through Visualization
Offer mental lamps to Sai Baba for 40 days to gain peace and positivity
The times that we are living has lot of sufferings. Earlier times when medical science had not made any progress, humans had to meet their end due to physical sufferings. As science advanced and commendable medical facilities are available, humans are still suffering. Well this is a way of nature to maintain balance, this is what science says. I absolutely agree to the fact. To maintain the balance, nature has it's own methods and so there are earthquakes, tsunami, floods, drought, etc. However, looking all this from spiritual dimension, we see that each soul takes form of a body (whether human, animal or insect, to be precise) and roll out its karma. We are experiencing the fruits of our action and shaping our own future birth(s). Even though we are a generation living in the era of modern science and technology, we are suffering physically and mentally. We are suffering our own success and falling prey to our minds and body. Seems we can't control either and we stand helpless. Already the sufferings were on verge when we came across an invisible devil killing hundreds of lives and we fighting with it since a year with no expiry time frame. This has dragged many of into mental sufferings such as fear, anxiety, worry, etc. It is absolutely necessary that we start doing something that will help us to give some peace of mind as well as free us from these negative emotions. Instead let us walk towards the creating affirmations in our minds and reach positivity to overcome the danger time. Sai sister Pooja Pillay, Whatsapp coordiantor of Sai Yug Network.com received guidance from Baba to offer Him mental lamps. Ya Sai everyone. I have been offering a ghee diya to Baba, on and off for a month now. Every evening like how most of us must be doing at home. I also light a few candles within the house, just for good ambience and positivity.
About a couple of days back, I was cribbing to Baba about the lockdown and said, "Can you arrange for my candles to be delivered as in the current situation only essentials are being delivered and Dear Baba for me your candles and diyas are essentials".
To this while meditating that day, Baba said, "Why is it important for you to offer Me something physical my child. Dont I operate from Shirdi in the spirit world. Offer Me Maansik (mental) seva, offer diyas to Me and Dhuni Mai to ward off negativity, difficulties and for peace across the world". I had also asked Him since Hanuman Jayanti is coming up, what food can I make for Hanuman Dada. To which His message was, "Maansik seva is what you offer Him, are We different, your Hanuman Dada and Baba are the same".
There are also many who cannot afford ghee diyas every day for Baba. This is for them too. My sincere prayers to Baba to reach this message to the ones He chooses. Also to light up someone else's world, we need to first light up our minds and hearts, hope this message enables you all to do that.
Hence the below seva in His Feet. 🌹
Sai Maansik Deep Seva
With Baba's guidance, join me in offering Maansik seva, the most purest and powerful form of seva to our Baba for 40 days starting this Hanuman Jayanti i.e. April 27, 2021 to June 6, 2021. Let's harness the power of our mind and souls to learn the effects of positive thinking and affirmations.Between 5:30pm to 6:30pm offer our Baba a ghee diya. A Maansik Ghee Diya. It will take only five minutes of your routine. Simply sit in front of Baba's picture. Close your eyes, calm yourself by taking three deep breath. Visualise yourself walking inside Dwarkamai, with two beautiful diyas with wicks dipped in ghee. Offer one to Dhuni Mai and another to our Baba.
Pray the below affirmation.
Dear Baba let Your light shine in our hearts and minds. Let there be light in this city, country and this world. Let there be light on this planet. Your Dhuni Mai is burning all our negative energies, we are healing ourselves and this world with Your Light. Visualise Golden Light around you, your loved ones and the world. Now put your wish forward in Baba's Feet or you could pray for your loved ones, family, people who are unwell, troubled by some suffering, financial losses.
Take a few more deep breath and open your eyes. Express a Genuine Thanks to Baba to give you this opportunity.
Thank you Baba🙏

Curb The Pandemic Situation By Seeking Forgiveness Collectively - Inspiration Of Sai Baba Through MahaParayan
This post is shared with an intention to seek forgiveness collectively from the mother nature to fight against the covid situation.
We are living in Kaliyug which is infamous for sorts of sufferings and we are facing many such sufferings in day to day lives. Already the souls were tormented while the pandemic has hit us hard. Lot many spiritual souls of these times are laying stress on forgiving to curb the effect of this hard time. Why so? How can only forgiving help us? Forgiveness takes a lot of emotional and mental effort. A person with less emotional IQ, also known as EQ will find it very difficult to forgive someone for even the smallest mistake. While a strong soul will be able to forgive because of it's high EQ. If we make any mistake we expect others to forgive us instantly as we do not want to face their wrath. While when it comes to us, we have an excuse, it's not easy for me to forgive. We all go through such petty or wider situations in our everyday life. Isn't it?
Let's imagine a situation absolutely opposite to the one above. If someone pushes accidentally and if we receive a sorry in return, we must be happily ready to forgive from the deep. Even though we accept the apology we at times keep pondering over it even for a few seconds, until we reach another thought.
When forgiveness is given with pure heart, it is sure to reach the person and there won't be any such situation in future. On the other hand, if forgiveness is asked with a true feeling of guilt, it is sure to be accepted.
This can be taken forward for cutting off knots in any relation in this birth to avoid being carried forward to the next one. Take for an instance, you do not have good terms with any person in the family. How much ever you both try, things won't work (ample reasons existing). Seeking and giving forgiveness can help to cut down the extreme results to be carried forward in the next birth. Though the relation might not improve, this technique makes sure it's not carried forward. It will balance the effects for once and all. Hope we can follow this technique with pure heart to make good the strained relationships of this birth. Forgiveness, thus, is a help that we are doing for ourselves. We are sowing the seeds whose fruits we are going to reap in the next birth. Taking forward this concept of forgiveness, how seeking forgiveness can be helpful to us in the present difficult time. A volunteer of MahaParayan has been inspired by Baba to move forward and forming the concept of "Collective Forgiveness" to spread across many tormented souls. Let's see how she proceeded and why we are reading this post.
Shirdi Sai Mahaparayan Devotee Dr. Silky From India Says: Jai Sairam! Dear Devotees, we are witnessing a challenging and turbulent time not only individually but also as a collective consciousness of the human race. This blog post is a dedicated gist of how Baba inspired the idea of asking for Collective Forgiveness through Mahaparayan. I would like to mention here that not all opinions expressed in this blog post are mine, some of them are inspired and learned from Jaya Wahi Di’s inspirational videos and Ruzbehji’s post, which provide us the much needed motivation, soul strength and resilience to tide through this tough time.
The virtue of asking for forgiveness as well as the very act of forgiving, have in itself a concealed power of healing. This holds true, much more so in this Kaliyuga, where we are engulfed constantly by our own inner enemies that cause us to suffer more than any external influence. As we make the effort to ask for forgiveness and also learn to forgive, we gradually let go of the things that are holding us back, we are no longer scared and intimidated of our worst fears. Infact asking for forgiveness is the first step we take to acknowledge that we have erred and the act of forgiving is the first step of releasing ourselves from self imposed bondages.
As I read Poojaji’s Raam-Navami post, wherein she mentioned about the vibrations every animate and inanimate object inherently carries and how it is important for us to not constantly indulge in news and statistics about the ongoing crisis, I was reminded of a similar guidance given by one of Jaya Wahi di’s videos. As individuals all of us carry our own karmic accounts and lessons to be learnt individually so that we evolve but along with that we also carry the collective karma as humanity that has existed on this planet. There certainly is a spiritual significance as to why we are here witnessing this pandemic at this point of time. A probable answer to this question is that at our soul levels we have to work out the karma of what humanity has done to our mother earth over centuries of its existence on this beautiful planet. Though endowed with the unique ability to acquire knowledge, the humans, which were supposed to be the crest jewel of the Almighty’s creation has largely acted as the dross of the creation, deeming itself superior to all other species and nature due its own ego-centricity. For centuries we have taken for granted the nourishment and nurturing our planet has given us for our sustenance, instead we have caused her harm in innumerable ways. This fact has been reiterated over the last one year.
But there also is another viewpoint of looking at this crisis. All messengers of God and religions have constantly taught us the importance of universal love, kindness and compassion for all, but we have failed to learn it beyond our selfish needs and desires. Jaya Di Says, “If love and compassion could not bind us together as a species, God has chosen the contrary emotions of pain and fear that has certainly gripped all of us together! So how can we overcome it?” The answer is: it has to be together! All have said time and and again that we are facing this calamity as nature’s wrath or whatever probable origin theories we want to believe in. As Baba’s children Its now time for us to collectively face the fear with our faith. As I was pondering over this concept of collective human consciousness, Baba inspired the thought of asking for a “Collective Forgiveness” through the platform of Mahaparayan. Just as I was thinking this, I received a forward from a Sai friend, the next day, that is attached below:
This reaffirmed my belief and I shared it with Poojaji, who then asked me to come up with this post.
As I was editing the first draft of the post, after discussion with Poojaji, I came across the following quote on my FB feed by Ruzbeh N Bharucha ji
This further strengthened our belief that we were being guided in this particular direction by Baba.
Asking For Collective Forgiveness As Participants Of Global MahaParayan
- The Global Mahaparayan Team requests every Mahaparayan devotee to participate in this small act of asking for collective forgiveness for all the wrong we have done towards mother earth and the animal kingdom, to generate a concerted healing vibe and spread positivity. On Baba’s inspiration, the GMP team requests every Mahaparayan devotee that as we read our allotted two chapters this coming Thursday;
- Let us take a minute out and ask for collective forgiveness from Mother Earth for all the wrong that we have done to her as the human race.
- Lets us also take a minute to ask for forgiveness for the harm we may have caused intentionally or unintentionally to anyone/any creature in our lifetime.
- This Thursday, as we pray for the health, well being and protection of our loved ones, lets us take a minute to also pray for anyone suffering from this crisis, anywhere in the world, in any way healthwise, financially or emotionally. A small heartfelt selfless prayer will surely go a long way.
- Along with this we can say the small prayer mentioned below:
As we take our nutritional supplements to build up our immunity, it is equally important to take our emotional immune boosters in the form of chanting, meditation and reading the Satcharitra through this tough time. It is also equally important to keep ourselves away from low vibrational emotions of fear, anger, resentment, etc. so that we are in a better position to handle the concurrent mental pandemic which could have lasting effect for years. During the course of the past year Baba through various instances guided me to pray to the energies of Lord Shiva, Lord Hanuman and Lord Shanidev.
- If each Mahaparayan devotee can consider himself/herself as a small diya that Baba Himself has lit, one of His "Panatis" which the Satcharita states, He loved so much, we shall realize not only our sole purpose but also our soul purpose. Our omniscient Baba, knowing that we shall all be going through this tough time together, inspired the thought of the Global Mahaparayan, where Baba’s children are woven together in the fabric of His love and faith, so that we may pray together and ask for forgiveness together in the present circumstance. If we can realize this conscious responsibility of being a Mahaparayan devotee in the present scenario, our asking for collective forgiveness shall surely generate a vibe of collective healing cause as we ask for forgiveness and also forgive, we heal at a vibrational and subtle level. If we can do this one step together, we shall surely be taking a small baby step towards making our Lord and Master happy.
Dedicated to the lotus feet of our Lord and Master Baba Sai!
Love and Regards,
On Behalf of the Global Mahaparayan Team
Silky

Introduction To Abdul Baba - A Great Devotee Of Sai Baba
How Adbul Baba came to Shirdi, what was his relation with Sai Baba, all this is covered in today's post.
We will be posting series of posts about the life and services of Abdul Baba, a great devotee of Sai Baba, but less known and written about. With Blessings and inspiration of Baba, dedicating this post (and upcoming series of posts) about Haji Abdul Baba who was one of the great Devotees (Maha-Bhakta) of Sai Baba. Haji Abdul Baba took samadhi in April 1954, so this is a form of our gratitude and salutations to such a great devotee for dedicated service to Lord during the month of samadhi.
Early Life of Haji Abdul Baba & How He Came To Shirdi
Haji Abdul Baba (born in 1871) was living in Nanded town and serving Sufi Saint Fakir Amiruddin. Once Lord Sai Baba appeared in the dream of Fakir and gave him two mangoes and told to give it to Haji Abdul Baba and send him to Shirdi immediately. When Fakir woke up, found two mangoes near him which he gave to Haji Abdul Baba and acted per Baba’s command. Haji Abdul Baba came to Shirdi in 1889-1890 at a young age when he was less than 20 years old. Lord Sai Baba welcomed him with words “Mera Kabla Ala” (My Crow has Come).Following Baba’s command Haji Abdul Baba dedicated himself entirely to the tough service (scavenging, cleaning, washing clothes) with minimal sleep and minimal food. He strictly followed Baba’s instructions of “Eat very little and sleep very little”. His family (mother, wife and son) stayed in Nanded but Haji Abdul Baba made Shirdi his permanent home sacrificing everything for the service of the Lord.
The life of Haji Abdul Baba, reflects highest perfection in Dasyam Bhakti (Serving the Lord as His servant) and Aatma Nivedanam (Total surrender of oneself to the Lord) forms of Nav-vidha-Bhakti
Rinanubandha of Sai Baba With Haji Abdul Baba
The greatness of the Haji Abdul Baba and grace of Sai Baba on him can be easily visible from the fact that Haji Abdul Baba is one of rare devotees who got an opportunity to serve Baba for almost thirty years during Baba’s life in the human form and for thirty six years after Mahasamadhi. Just imagine, how much shubh karmas of past births must have bore fruits to make such a long association possible with Baba. Without Baba's will, no one can enter into Shirdi, many get only limited opportunity to stay in Shirdi only for a few days. But Haji Abdul Baba’s devotion was at a very high spiritual plane and the rinanubandha of Shri Sai Baba with Haji Abdul Baba was of many centuries/generation old which along with the grace of Sadguru Sai Baba, only then this association was possible.Sai Baba is an incarnation of Lord Dattatreya. In the 13th century when Lord Dattatreya incarnated as Lord Sri Sripada Srivallabha, Haji Abdul Baba visited Lord along with Bade Baba. Lord Sri Sripada Srivallabha told them that in the future avatar of the complete sadguru incarnation as Shri Sai Natha, both will get an opportunity to serve the Lord and will be uplifted with His grace. So this shows that without Guru’s grace no one can come closer or serve. More information about this can be found in chapter 18 (Divine Auspicious Darshan of Lord Srīpāda) the Holy book of Sri Sripada Srivallabha Charithamrutham.
Haji Abdul Baba’s Mention in Sai Satcharita
In the Holy book Shri Sai Satcharita, there are brief mentions of Haji Abdul Baba.In Chapter 22 (Rescues from Serpent Bites - Leela of Baba, saving devotee Amir Shakkar). In this Leela, Baba ordered Haji Abdul Baba to bring a lantern in Chavadi to search for serpent.
In Chapter 34 (Greatness of Udi - Leela of Baba’s curing Dr. Pillay), Baba told Dr. Pillay - "Take off that bandage or else you will die. Now a crow will come and peck you, and then you will recover." Soon Haji Abdul Baba came to perform service in Dwarakamai. During the service, his foot fell upon the stretched leg of Dr. Pillay and this incident led to removal of guinea-worms from the swollen foot and with taking Udi daily, the leg was cured.
In Chapter 35 (Udi’s Mahima - Story of Mahabhakta Balaji Patil Newaskar) - Every day Balaji Patil Newaskar swept and kept clean all the passages and streets in Shirdi through which Baba passed in His daily routine. This work was, after him, equally well-done by Param Siddha Yogini Maa RadhaKrishna Mai, and after her by Haji Abdul Baba.
Haji Abdul Baba’s Samadhi and Cottage in Shirdi
Baba’s devotees who have got golden opportunity to visit Holy Shirdi, may have visited Haji Abdul Baba’s cottage which is in front of Chavadi. In Haji Abdul Baba’s cottage one can find rare photographs and also Chimta (fire tongs) which was given by Lord Sai Baba to Haji Abdul Baba. This is the cottage where Haji Abdul Baba spent most of his last years of his life.Haji Abdul Baba’s samadhi is located inside Samadhi Mandir complex. Just outside the southern fence of Shri Lendi, across the square from Dixit Wada, is a row of five samadhis (samadhis of Shri Tatya Kote Patil, Shri Nanavali, Haji Abdul Baba, Shri V.P. Iyer, Shri Bhau Maharaj Kumbhar). Haji Abdul Baba’s samadhi is located there. During my last visit to Shirdi, I also got the blessing to visit the samadhi and got a coin as a prasad from the ancestor of Haji Abdul Baba ji.
In the next post, we will be discussing “Sai Baba’s utterances” which Haji Abdul Baba maintained as a notebook and later transliterated into a book and more details on the significance of it along with other experiences of Haji Abdul Baba with Lord Sai Nath.
We pay our humble gratitude and obeisance to Baba and such a great devotee.
